“Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone's hand is the beginning of a journey. At other times, it is allowing another to take yours.”
Vera Nazarian

Are you experiencing difficulties related to anxiety, low mood, relationships, trauma or major life changes?

Sometimes we need a helping hand to guide our way through these challenging times. I am committed to supporting you to find your inner strength in your journey towards healing and self-discovery.

Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy can help with the following:

  • Anxiety and panic attacks

  • Bullying

  • Depression

  • Loss and bereavements

  • Low Self-Esteem

  • Relationship problems

  • Sexuality

  • Shame and guilt

  • Stress

  • Trauma

Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy works through presence and awareness. The approach combines Western psychology theory with Eastern philosophy. It is with awareness to the present moment that provides a direct pathway to the core of our existence. Existence is not to be found in the past, nor in the future, it is here in the now, to be embraced right now so that we are able to give ourselves the opportunity to heal deeply entrenched beliefs and wounds.
The intention is not to change ourselves or our past but to change how we experience and respond to it in the present. Mindfulness allows us to stay present with our experiences without self criticism and develop witness consciousness.
Once we develop a sense of presence, we can free ourselves from those patterned responses. We are able to develop greater insight into our experiences through an embodied presence, and seeing ourselves with the light of compassion and softness we are able to access our inner wisdom, with potential to ultimately transform our lives.

I offer weekly individual therapy to those struggling with various aspects of their life, ranging from anxiety and stress to low confidence to depression and trauma. I have several years of experience working in the field of mental wellbeing, supporting people with a range of emotional difficulties. My background is in teaching yoga where I have always focused on a therapeutic process. I work with people of all cultures, backgrounds, orientations and abilities.
I am a UKCP Trainee Psychotherapist with a humanistic, client-centred and integrative background and a particular focus on mindfulness. I abide by their ethical framework. I offer a warm, non-judgemental and inclusive space for therapy where you can feel safe and at ease.
I am currently completing a MA in mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic practice, through Middlesex University and The Karuna Institute. I continue to work with charities and mental health rehabilitation centres supporting adults experiencing difficulties in their lives.
